Wedding Favor Label Wording for Tea & Honey
← Wedding Welcome Bag Favors with Tea & Honey
A few words guests can read
A small wedding favor label needs one clear job: identify the celebration or thank the guest. It does not need to repeat your invitation. Start with the names, date or message you care about most, then shorten the rest until the text fits the product's actual field.
For the paper-bag tea and honey favor, the Tea personalization and Honey personalization fields each allow up to 50 characters. Other AdoreVera listings have different limits. In particular, the organza tea and honey favor allows 20 characters for its tea field and 50 for its honey field.

Choose the purpose of the label
If the favor is going into a welcome bag, a short greeting can connect it to the weekend. If it will sit at each place setting, names and a wedding date may be enough. If you are thanking people after the event, a simple thank-you can work without a date at all.
Do not try to fit all three purposes into one label. A separate card you supply can hold a longer note, a weekend itinerary or a personal message. That keeps the product label legible and lets the additional note do its own job.
Short wording examples
These examples count spaces and punctuation. They are text ideas, not a promise about a particular font, line break or printed layout. Count your own replacement names and date again before submitting them.

Use the plain wording if you want the fewest moving parts. Initials can save space, but make sure they will still mean something to the guest. A numeric date is compact; a spelled-out month may be clearer for guests used to another date format. Choose the format deliberately and keep it consistent with your stationery.
Use the tea and honey fields deliberately
For a full tea and honey set, you can enter appropriate wording in the two separate fields. One possible pairing is names and date on the tea label, with a short thank-you on the honey label. Both still need to fit the limit shown beside their own field.
For Tea Only, use the tea field. For Honey Only, use the honey field. Do not assume that text entered only for an item you did not select will automatically be moved to the other label. If you need a special arrangement, ask us about the exact option and wording before purchase.
A label field is also not an upload system for a guest list. Different names on every favor, custom artwork or multiple versions within one pack should be discussed before you order. This guide does not promise an automatic individual-label service.
Check the printing format
The paper-bag product gallery states that the labels are printed in black and white. Choose text that works on its own instead of depending on colored lettering or emoji. A ribbon or decorative accent in a product photograph does not change the label printing specification.
The character limit is the maximum allowed input, not a target you need to fill. A shorter phrase can be easier to read on a small tea packet or honey jar. We do not promise a particular font size or line arrangement from the length alone.
Proofread in a different order
Read the finished text once for meaning, then check the details individually: each name, each number in the date, punctuation and spaces. Compare the date with your invitation instead of relying on memory. Ask another person to read the exact final text if possible.
Before checking out, confirm that the wording is in the correct product field and that the selected pack contains the format you intended. Keep a copy of the text you submitted. Do not rely on a proof being sent unless that service has been specifically agreed with us.
For a larger order, resolve wording before working backward from the event date. The ordering timeline separates preparation, transit and your own packing time. Return to welcome-bag planning for quantities, or choose the paper-bag favor when your text is ready.
