Short Tea Gift Messages: Christmas & Thank-You Notes

Short Tea Gift Messages: Christmas & Thank-You Notes

← How to Choose a Tea Gift Set

A few words from you

A short note makes it yours

You do not need a long message to make a tea gift feel personal. Say why you thought of the recipient, add a warm wish, and sign your name. A specific, simple line often says more than a string of tea puns.

The four AdoreVera boxes in our Christmas tea gift selection have a 100-character field for the gift message and sender together. The examples below are original suggestions for the note enclosed with a gift. They are not messages for a monetary gift card.

A simple message formula

Wishing you a warm and wonderful Christmas.

Love, Anna
Message example, not a print preview. Sentiment + signature = 54 characters.

Start with one thought: “Thank you for…” or “Wishing you…”. Add a short reference to the occasion if it helps, then sign. Spaces and punctuation use part of the available field, so leave room for your name. The character counts below apply to the example exactly as written, before you add a signature.

Christmas and winter wishes

Wishing you a warm and wonderful Christmas.

43 characters · 57 left for your signature and spacing

A little tea and sweetness for your winter days.

48 characters · 52 left for your signature and spacing

Warm wishes for the holidays and the year ahead.

48 characters · 52 left for your signature and spacing

For slow mornings and good company this Christmas.

50 characters · 50 left for your signature and spacing

Use Christmas wording when it fits the recipient. For a more general seasonal gift, the winter or warm-wishes examples keep the greeting open. The message can be personal without making assumptions about the recipient’s celebrations.

Thank-you notes for a teacher, colleague or client

Thank you for all the care you put into what you do.

52 characters · 48 left for your signature and spacing

A little thank-you for a year of working together.

50 characters · 50 left for your signature and spacing

Thank you for helping our team grow.

36 characters · 64 left for your signature and spacing

For a wonderful teacher: thank you for your kindness.

53 characters · 47 left for your signature and spacing

Make a professional note about the real reason for your thanks. If you know the person well, replace a general phrase with a brief detail. For a client or colleague, sign with your name or team name so they can identify the sender.

These examples are wording suggestions, not a promise that a particular workplace permits gifts. If the recipient has a gift policy, check it before buying. For a group of recipients, also decide whether you want individual boxes or small holiday favors.

For a friend, host or someone far away

Wish we could share a cup. Sending you a little warmth.

55 characters · 45 left for your signature and spacing

Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

40 characters · 60 left for your signature and spacing

For our next long chat over a cup of tea.

41 characters · 59 left for your signature and spacing

A small reminder that you are loved.

36 characters · 64 left for your signature and spacing

A shared detail is an easy way to make the note yours: a conversation over tea, a visit you enjoyed, or a simple thank-you for being there. You can replace part of an example rather than adding several sentences to it.

How to keep your note within 100 characters

Write the sentiment first, then add a short signature. If it is too long, remove repeated wishes and shorten the opening. “Dear” and a long sign-off are optional. Keep the recipient’s name only if it helps the message feel more personal.

For example, “Wishing you a warm and wonderful Christmas. Love, Anna” has 54 characters, including spaces and punctuation. It leaves 46 characters in the current 100-character field. If you change it, check the length again rather than relying on the example’s count.

Use the product page’s personalization field for the message. It is separate from selecting a printed card design. Choosing a Merry Christmas design does not automatically enter your custom note or sender’s name.

Card design and custom message are different choices

Tea & Honey, Five Tea & Honey, and Hygge Socks, Tea & Honey currently have a card-design selector with options including Merry Christmas and For You. The Hygge candle box uses sock-color and candle-scent selectors and has its own message field; do not assume it has the same card-design menu.

Tea & Honey base gift: five teas and 1.7 oz honey. Optional accessories are selected separately.

The photo shows one example of a gift box and its For You card. Available designs are shown on each product page. The styled example above is a writing aid, not a preview of the printed layout. If you need a logo, special layout or another customization that is not offered in the selector, contact us to check what is possible before ordering.

Check before you finish

Read the note aloud, check spelling, include your sender name, and confirm that it fits the field. If you are ordering several gifts with different notes, ask us how to arrange them before placing a combined order; do not assume that one message will be assigned differently to each box.
