Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 14, 2026

AdoreVera (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates adorevera.com and the Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/adorevera. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you visit our website, contact us, or purchase our products.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Order information: name, email address, billing and shipping address, purchased products, selected options, personalization text, and order notes.
  • Account information: username, email address, saved addresses, and order history if you create an account.
  • Communication data: messages sent through our contact forms, email, or Etsy messaging.
  • Usage and device data: pages viewed, interactions, referring source, approximate location, browser, device type, and technical identifiers when analytics is permitted.

We do not directly collect or store full payment card numbers. Payments are handled by the payment method or gateway selected at checkout.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • process, personalize, fulfill, and support orders;
  • operate the cart, checkout, fraud prevention, and account features;
  • respond to questions and provide shipping or customer service updates;
  • understand and improve website usability, products, and checkout performance;
  • send marketing messages only when permitted, with an unsubscribe option; and
  • comply with tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and other legal obligations.

3. Services That Process Information

We use service providers to operate the store. Depending on how you use the site and the choices you make, these may include:

  • WordPress, WooCommerce, and our hosting provider: website, account, cart, checkout, security, and order operations.
  • Payment providers: secure payment authorization and processing. Their privacy terms apply to information they collect directly.
  • Google Analytics 4: optional website measurement, including page views, ecommerce events, device and browser information, referring source, and approximate geographic information. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity: optional usability analytics such as heatmaps, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, and session recordings. Checkout, contact, and personalization fields are masked to reduce collection of entered personal information. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Etsy: orders placed through our Etsy shop. See the Etsy Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers when necessary to operate the store, complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect our rights and customers.

4. Cookies and Consent Choices

Essential storage supports security, shopping cart, checkout, consent choices, and other functions needed for the site to work. It remains active because the store cannot provide these requested services without it.

Optional analytics storage supports Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. On a first visit, analytics storage is denied until you make a choice in the cookie banner. Before consent, these services may receive limited cookieless technical signals, but first-party analytics cookies and Clarity session recordings are not enabled. If you accept analytics, cookies such as Google Analytics identifiers and Clarity identifiers may be stored so visits and interactions can be measured.

You can accept, reject, or customize optional cookies in the banner. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting the Cookie settings button at the bottom of the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies, although blocking essential storage may prevent cart or checkout features from working correctly.

5. Legal Bases and Your Rights

Depending on your location, we process information based on your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the store. Applicable rights may include:

  • accessing or receiving a copy of your personal information;
  • correcting inaccurate information;
  • requesting deletion or restriction, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • objecting to certain processing or withdrawing consent;
  • requesting data portability where applicable; and
  • unsubscribing from marketing communications.

California residents: you may have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to receive information about how it is used. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA and UK residents: you may withdraw consent at any time and may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted connections, access controls, and trusted payment processors. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including customer service, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting obligations. Order records are generally retained for up to seven years when required for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics retention is controlled through the applicable provider settings and consent choices.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or services change. The current version and its updated date will be posted on this page.
